The Linework quilt is a great building block pattern for creating any design you can dream up. With stripes and HST paper pieced blocks the pattern options are endless. And adding to the design choices, the pattern works great two toned or scrappy. As usual Cait's patterns are clear and come together quickly.

I love the choose your own adventure nature of the Linework quilt pattern. It’s a great way to get comfortable with foundation paper piecing (don’t run away! I’m a total novice and still managed it!). You can play with colour and make it as coordinated or scrappy as you like. The pattern is detailed and well illustrated, and has lots of options for layouts and sizes.

Great pattern, including cutting instructions for FPP which not everyone includes. It’s a fun “choose your own adventure,” versatile pattern. Follow it faithfully or go off the beaten path with it, it’s all good!

Cait's Linework Quilt is a fun FPP pattern with endless possibilities to make it your own. It's an easy to follow pattern with clear instructions for 5 different blocks and it looks great in only 2 colours but also in a scrappy version or multi-colour way

This pattern is great for beginner and experienced Foundation Paper Piecers alike! The choose your own design aspect lets the maker decide how many of each block they want to use, and as such a less experienced sewer can opt to only do one or two of the "more complicated" blocks while gaining more practice on the simpler ones at the same time. The blocks worked up quite quickly and the cutting instructions were clear, making quick work of one of the longer steps in the quilt top making process. The size options are nice and varied, and the finished quilt can be made exponentially larger simply by making more blocks, or by printing the templates out at a larger size. All in all, I had a great time making up my pillow sized project and look forward to trying one of the larger sizes in the future

Linework is a great starter FPP pattern and delivers the versatility that most patterns do not offer. The five cleverly designed blocks means you can mix and match the blocks to create a custom sized project. Have an odd shaped cushion that you need a custom cover for or a small wall space that needs a quilty project then this is your go to pattern. Ideal for using strip scraps from your latest project to make a complimentary gift
