The rainbow burst pattern was so fun to make! It is the perfect quilt for beginners. It teaches basic techniques in a fun and modern way. Cait has written this pattern so well! Easy to understand and to the point. It is also scrap friendly and it is fast to make. Makes for a beautiful wall hanging or baby quilt. Rainbow burst showcases your favourite fabrics beautifully!

I really enjoyed putting this pattern together. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow even for a total beginner like me. Once cut the blocks were super quick to come together and I can't wait to try different colour combinations

The Rainbow Burst Quilt pattern was super easy to follow and fun for both beginners and advanced quilt makers alike. It is essentially four identical quadrants rotated which makes it easy to whip up a finished quilt top quickly. It's a very versatile pattern and easily adaptable to many layouts and colour schemes. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quick weekend project to make you feel accomplished!

The Rainbow Burst Quilt is a great beginner friendly pattern. The instructions are comprehensive and easy to understand. Every step is included from cutting your fabric to finishing the quilt, with clear illustrations to help along the way. The quilt would look fantastic in rainbow, one colour or scrappy fabrics. You can have this quilt cut, pieced and finished really quickly. The added bonus is there are two layout options, so you really get two designs for one!

I really enjoyed testing the Rainbow Burst quilt. Cait’s use of the flying geese pattern resonated with me as it minimizes waste and speeds up the process. I also appreciated that she uses large blocks for the quilt and the ease of which I could use scraps to create something really nice, as opposed to having to purchase additional fabric. The instructions were crystal clear and include a lot of graphics that make things easy to understand.

I would recommend Cait Lisle's "Rainbow Burst" quilt pattern to a quilter at any level. I am new to quilting, having started an adventure with sewing in October 2020. Cait's Rainbow Burst was the first quilting pattern I have ever reviewed, and it was so much fun! It was really a beginner-friendly quilt top, and I found the instructions easy to follow and straightforward. I have never made flying geese before, and Cait's instructions made it easy to make 4 flying geese blocks at one time. The instructions are provided in detail for both cutting and assembly of individual blocks.

It was a fun quilt to put together, and I have learned new techniques whilst I was assembling it. It's a really colourful pattern, and the quilt top is so beautiful when it is assembled. I added two borders to my quilt top - a black border (I like the frame effect it creates), and a rainbow border using the same fabrics as I chose for the quilt pattern. I would recommend this quilt pattern for beginners who want to take their skills to the next level.
